Leave M1 at Junction 29 and take the A617 to Chesterfield and then the A619 to Bakewell.From Bakewell centre take the A6 towards Matlock. After approximately 3 miles turn right towards Youlgrave on the B5056 which is immediately before the start of the wide cycle lane.
Follow this road through Alport and then through Youlgrave.
After leaving Youlgrave, the road forks twice, keep to the right hand fork each time. Long Rake Spar is located on the left 0.25 miles past the second fork, immediately after a sharp left hand bend.

Leave M1 at Junction 29 and take the A617 to Chesterfield and then the A619 towards Bakewell. Turn right onto the A6020 to Ashford via a bridge (13’ 9” max. height).Turn right onto the A6 to Buxton. After approximately 8 miles, turn left along the A5270, towards Brierlow Bar. At the next junction turn left to join the A515 towards Ashbourne.After approximately 6 miles there is a distinct dip in the road afterwhich turn left, then almost immediately turn right, following ‘Long Rake Spar Lorry Route’ signs. Follow this road for approximately 3 miles and LongRake Spar is the SECOND quarry operation on the right hand side.

From Buxton follow the A515 towards Ashbourne. After approximately 6 miles there is a distinct dip in the road afterwhich turn left, then almost immediately turn right, following ‘Long Rake Spar Lorry Route’ signs. Follow this road for approximately 3 miles and Long Rake Spar is the SECOND quarry operation on the right hand side.From the West

Leave M1 at Junction 28 heading towards Derby, from Derby follow the A6 towards Matlock.At Cromford turn left at the traffic lights towards Wirksworth and take the first right signed to Via Gellia. Stay on this road until you reach the A515 (Ashbourne to Buxton Road) approximately 6 miles. Turn right at the junction and after approximately 1 mile there is a distinct dip in the road after which turn right, then almost immediately turn right again, following ‘Long Rake Spar Lorry Route’ signs. Follow this road for approximately 3 miles and Long Rake Spar is the SECOND quarry operation on the right hand side.
