The Long Rake Spar customised packaging plant provides:
     
Packing
  • Bulk bags
  • Palletised rockery stone supplied in wire cages (approx 70 pieces per cage)
  • 5kg-25kg plastic sealed bags with Long Rake Spar or plain branding
  • 5kg-25kg customised bags with retailer’s own branding

Our equipment and facilities include:

  • State of the art robotic packaging plant with a capacity of 400 tonnes (16,000 bags) per day
  • 2 semi-manual packing lines for cobbles and a short-run flexible packaging plant for multiple products. Each has a capacity of 100 tonnes per day
  • Bagging plant for sands and powder based products from storage silos
  • Valve-filled paper bags for venting hot dry products
  • On-site storage facilities for stocks of own-brand packed product
  • Computerised weighbridge facility
  • Hopper-fed facility for dry product tanker loading
  • Bulk bagging line for all wet and dry products
